Responsibilities:

• The role fulfils the application integration and development requirements related to the company's core technology competency areas and is aimed at providing the company with a competitive edge in the competency of systems development and integration

System Engineer (Messaging)

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange administration and operations
• Knowledge in Network Appliance Filer Storage and MS SQL are added advantage

• To provide installation and configuration of backup software and also assist with restores operation together with the appropriate Central Engineering Department.

Requirements:

The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing the day to day operational support of approximately 300 servers.

Systems Administrators are responsible for the day to day implementation and management of Servers, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wide Area Networks and other supporting infrastructure.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

Essential:
Appropriate tertiary certification or qualifications in technology or Systems Administration

The position requires knowledge of server, network security, and information technology industry standards. Minimum of 3-4 years Systems Administration experience in a small to medium enterprise Experience gained on the front line such as a helpdesk will be highly regarded as well as extensive customer facing experience.

The position requires experience and proven ability to work independently, remotely and as part of physical and virtual teams as required by projects.
