System Engineer (Messaging)

Position Title: System Engineer (Messaging)
Locations: Malacca , Malaysia

Responsibilities:
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange administration and operations
• Knowledge in Network Appliance Filer Storage and MS SQL are added advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Resourceful with good analytical skill and ability to perform systematic troubleshooting techniques
• To provide installation and configuration of backup software and also assist with restores operation together with the appropriate Central Engineering Department.
• Support services must be provided on-site at the designated locations defined above.
• Support services must be rendered during business operating hours defined above.

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Industry Certification i.e. MCP or MCSE is preferred
• Well-versed with Microsoft Windows Server O/S and Active Directory
• Well-versed with Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 administration
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support on Messaging related services (such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office Live Meeting, eFax, Mobile solution/Blackberry, Viruswall/Ironport, Anti-Spam, etc)
• Conduct training to 1st level IT support team
• On-call rotation after support hours for critical or urgent cases
• Implementation of global operation processes and guidelines including documentation
• Work closely with Messaging Design team to support testing
• Project supports
